The objective of the Special Subsidizing Regime in the Repair of Rented Real Estate, to which is given the abbreviated designation of RECRIA, is to support preservation and improvement works in degraded rented houses, upon a financial subsidy.
This subsidy is a lost-fund help, and can achieve 65% of the value of the works. It is attributed by the Central Administration through the National Housing Institute (INH) and by the Local Administration, through the Town Hall of Borba (CMB).
If you are interested to apply for recovering works in your house in this Regime, you ought to know what the phases of the process are:
- The inscription and analysis of the chance to obtain the RECRIA subsidy (Note: The rental agreement has to be prior to 1980; if there is more than one house, at least one of the rental agreements should be prior to 1980).
- Delivery of the required elements to the analysis and formulation of the process;
- The petitioner applies for the inspection and pays a guarantee of 100 euros;
- Inspection and survey of the works to be done and drawing up of an estimate by the Technical Services of the Town Hall of Borba;
- Delivery to the petitioner of a form with measurements and works to be done for him to apply for two more estimates by two contractors selected by him;
- The petitioner delivers two estimates to the Technical Services of the Town Hall of Borba;
- Analysis and choice of the estimate to the calculation of the subsidy ;
- Notification to the petitioner of the values subsidized by the Town Hall and by the INH;
- The subsidy is approved in a meeting about the process in the Town Hall;
- The process in sent to the INH;
- After an affirmative response of the INH the petitioner sends the contract to celebrate and the NIB (Bank Identification Number)
- Work Licensing/ Authorization with previous communication to deliver in the Technical Services;
- After the communication of the approval – Beginning of the works;
- Accompaniement of the works by the Technical Services;
- Conclusion of the works;
- Payment of the subsidy by the Town Hall upon performance measurement reports;
- The Town Hall send to the INH the declaration which confirms the end of the works as well as the liquidation of the respective subsidy;
- The INH sends the subsidy directly to the petitioner in a 10days term.
