The typical façade of the small rural churches of Borba has porch with three arches. In the inside it is to detach two side retables in regional marble. In the outside wall there’s a tile panel representing D. Nuno Álvares Pereira, ordered by the poet Azinhal Abelho, important figure of the Portuguese culture from Orada.
In the parish of Orada is still preserved a museological nucleus with this poet’s spoil. Today it’s still said in Orada that when there was the election of the Aldeia Mais Portuguesa de Portugal (The Most Portuguese Village in Portugal), Orada didn’t get the ambitioned prize because its inhabitants weren’t connected to the Estado Novo (New State).
