Published in 2001, by the Town Hall of Vila Viçosa in the 10th anniversary of the Festa da Vinha e do Vinho and by the Local Technical Office of Borba, the book O Vinho e o Património tried to demonstrate the importance of wine culture and commerce in the town of Borba.
In fact, the richness proportioned by this product lead the 13th century in this town to be a prosperous one, providing several artistic campaigns in churches and the conception of a bold urban planning which enriched the town with countless monuments, as the Bicas Fountain, the Town Hall and the Palace of Morgados Cardosos.
Besides being an interesting survey, the book presents a bold graphic conception by Vera Lopes which largely enriches the work.
